Case study

Dock paperwork, captured and filed from a phone

Our document-capture product for warehouses reads phone photos and copier scans of loads and bills of lading, and sends unclear scans to a person.

What we built

Warehouse staff photograph loads and paperwork on phones they already have, or scan stacks on the office copier. Every document is kept in a library the 3PL can share with its clients.

A public API with signed webhooks lets other systems use the results.

How it works

  1. Capture

A phone photo at the dock, or a stack of paperwork scanned on the office copier.

  2. Read

Each image is read every minute.

  3. Match

Each document is tagged to the shipment by barcode or reference.

  4. Check

A multi-document scan is split only when every page break is clear. Otherwise the whole scan goes to a person.
